Start off with the best pay possible.

You'll always be given more duties, the more you perform well - the more you'll get, know when to say enough. Know how to get more money with more duties. I believed that I would be compensated by the more duties I performed well.- did not work yet... Since I was able to organize the new responsibilities into my work load.
