Mandation.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in St. Paul:
Mandation..had to stay at work when I was committed to caring for grandchildren at home after my scheduled shift. Job stress high due to workload, many extras, ie, serving meals, washing dishes, carried laundry across building, extra work load when colleague called in or no show. Learned to do many jobs at one time. Taught new hires, had most experience.

It is truly a beautiful experience.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Carthage:
Pros: The most I like about my job is my residents, when they tell me how great of a person I am, and a worker I am. To be able to be there to help, and practically be one another family, be there to put a smile on their face, to be the one to give them something to look forward every day. To be able to hear how much you truly mean to them, cuz of what you do for them in more ways than imaginable. To be the one to make things feel right, to make them feel whole and that it's not the end. There is so many things I love about my job. Most of all, to be the one to stand by a family member when their loved one is passing to, to comfort, or to hug and hold. To get such amazing words told to you for what you have done for their family member, or any differences you make. Is truly heart touching, and makes me only love my job more.
Cons: Seeing my residents go, or their family drown in tears while they say goodbye to their loved ones.
