Executive Assistant in San Diego:
Over worked, under paid. Code of conduct policy not enforced. Total burnout after 3.5 years. Was hired to support VP/GM, and after two weeks of employment, inherited a Director and his team of 10+, without further compensation. Three years later, inherited 4 more VPs without further compensation. Burned out after two months of these extra duties. Very little recognition for huge projects out of the scope of my assigned duties, or others taking credit. Went on medical leave due to stress, anxiety, and depression and found peace; so I gave my notice and I'm no longer exhausted.
