What is it like working as a Graphic Designer?
August 2019
A great place to work.
Graphic Designer in Orlando:
Pros: I'm treated with respect and treated as an adult should be , and the environment is the best that I have experienced in my years of working in this field.
Cons: Some employees seem to get treated better than others even though they do just as much work or more. Overall it is a very good place to work.

Meh.
Graphic Designer in Cairo:
Pros: casual dress, casual environment, occasional birthday breaks during the week, 2 weeks regularly paid vacation each year (1 for July 4th and 1 for Christmas/New Years), and everybody is really nice 85% of the time.
Cons: high stress, no communication, lower pay than I'd expect for the time I've been here & my experience level, higher than possible expectations for output.
August 2019
Respectful work culture with mostly like-minded colleagues.
Graphic Designer in Franklin:
Pros: The ability to jump from different areas of design work like production, branding, photography, stop motion, some video work and store displays while learning a lot about geography, world culture and inspiring travel destinations
Cons: The transparency of company changes. As the world moves away from print and into digital the company is actively moving teams around and job titles with little to no notice.
August 2019
Extremely varied with a lot of opportunity for experimentation, but not necessarily growth.
Graphic Designer in Auckland:
Pros: That I can dabble in multiple parts of the business and work on separate projects
Cons: That I am the only designer with no immediate guidance or mentorship in my chosen field
