Office Management is like taking care of family.
Office Manager in Kansas City:
Pros: In my position at JEI I have the freedom to do my job in the best way that I see fit! My desire to serve my fellow employees and to make sure the office runs smoothly so they can be at their most productive is my main focus. I am like the Den Mother making sure everyone has supplies and coffee to keep them going. And, because I don't have someone micro-managing me, I am able to set my own schedule, prioritize my own work, and provide a valuable service to my organization! I love making others lives a little bit easier!
Cons: Driving to the office. But it's difficult to be a good office manager if you aren't in the office! And I am older than most of the employees as well. That makes me feel like an outsider at times. But, overall, I really don't have any complaints that I can't fix on my own! So I'm actually doing quite well!
