Be Humble, Learn what you can from them every day, take a genuine interest in their lives, what they like, how they like to be communicated with, communicate how much your appreciate what they do, praise accomplishments, learn to set goals for your self and team, provide the resources and support they need to be successful, monitor, mentor help as needed. Support the people that work for you and they will support you. Be honest, set the good example and set appropriate expectations.

Managing and making money and designing the store also food.

Pros: 1. Like working with people.
2. My staff are great the work performance with them is that I can trust them and they all know every job in the store and how I like it.
3. The store is welcoming and people like shopping here and they feel comfortable.
4. Good customer service.
Cons: For in the town of Assiniboia for a manager it is the lowest paying job. I think the the Salvation Army should revamp and make sure that the staff are treated good so that they will stay.

Pros: I travel a lot and I see places people rarely go. I enjoy the feeling of achievement when I solved a difficult problem. I like the respect I get from my colleagues and others in the industry.
Cons: Long hours on the road, long periods away from home, no overtime, no vacation time during the year, no pension, no health benefits.
