Pros: Manage peaople, traveling to other countries, other cultures learning, long term negotiations.
Cons: High stress level, risk desicions need to be taken sometimes, to be the face of your company, personal time investment on work.

Learn your employees strength's, weaknesses right out of the gate! Help them understand your vision (short and long term), insure they are a part of it. Lead by example, not from your desk. Learn to deal with a multitude of personalities, being a good listener means nothing without positive feed back and showing that your a person of action, not just talk.

Never ask any employee to do a task that you would not do your self. When delegating, always explain why the task has to be completed. Always empower, engage and enthuse your staff. Respect is earned...but has to be returned.
