Pay for performance, flexible management, and focused on results vs. doing everything a certain way. Good benefits, bonus structure is fair, and corporate communication has improved over the few years I've been with the company.

Cons: HQ is in Boston, and many corporate/group/divisional offices are centered around this area. Many facilities scattered throughout the country and abroad, including new Life Technologies acquisition HQ in San Diego area. If you're in either area, growth opportunities abound. If you begin your career with Thermo Fisher anywhere else, be prepared for a relocation once you stagnate in your current position.
