June 2017
Comfortable atmosphere.
Cashier in Irvine:
Pros: Irvine is one of the most affluent cities in California as well as a college town for one of the most prestigious universities in the state, so the atmosphere tends to be relaxed and easygoing. Jobs in Irvine are competitive due to the sheer number of students and gradutes looking for work, but overall there are a lot of business headquarters located in Irvine so there are plenty of career opportunities.
Cons: It is too expensive to live in Irvine and incredibly difficult for those who are low-income or without access to a personal car to travel, making it undesirable to commute to school, work, or social gatherings. Unfortunately the atmosphere in Irvine closes itself off in a cultural bubble, so there are not many diverse jobs or clients to work with.
